The community of North St. Louis County is mourning after a devastating multi-vehicle crash on Highway 367 near Chambers Road claimed the lives of three women, including 53-year-old Cherese Fisher.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the tragic collision occurred Friday night when a southbound Cadillac SRX sideswiped a Lexus RX350. The impact forced the Lexus, driven by Fisher with her 18-year-old daughter inside, into oncoming traffic, where it was struck by a northbound Toyota Highlander.

All three women in the Lexus and Toyota were pronounced dead at the scene.

 Chain-Reaction Collision Under Active Investigation

Authorities are still working to determine the full sequence of events that led to the deadly crash. Investigators confirmed that the driver of the Cadillac SRX has not yet had their identity or condition fully released as the case remains under review.

Crash reconstruction teams are analyzing vehicle positions, roadway conditions, and witness statements to better understand how the initial sideswipe escalated into a fatal chain-reaction collision.

Officials have not indicated whether charges will be filed, emphasizing that the investigation is ongoing.
