Michael John Biehl, lovingly known as Mike, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, at the age of 71, after a long and successful life. Born on May 27, 1954, Mike was an exceptional individual whose generosity and unwavering commitment to others left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether in business or personal relationships, Mike’s caring nature, work ethic, and selflessness defined the way he lived his life. He was a man whose actions spoke louder than words, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mike was well known for his willingness to lend a helping hand. His family, friends, and colleagues admired him for his unshakeable devotion to others, always willing to go above and beyond to offer support and guidance. His strength of character shone brightest when faced with challenges. Mike faced life’s obstacles with resilience, determination, and an unwavering spirit, qualities that earned him the respect and admiration of everyone around him. He dedicated his life to ensuring that his family thrived, offering not only financial stability but also wisdom, love, and encouragement. As a father and partner, Mike was the rock that held his family together, and his devotion to them was evident in every aspect of his life.

In addition to his personal accomplishments, Mike built a remarkable career that was defined by his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to creating something lasting. One of his greatest achievements was founding MJB Industries, Inc., a company he built from the ground up through sheer hard work, vision, and determination. Under his leadership, MJB Industries grew into a successful and respected business that mirrored Mike’s own qualities: dependable, hardworking, and driven. He was also particularly proud of the rescue and revitalization of UP Paper, a project that became a symbol of his leadership and commitment to those he worked with. Mike always believed that the success of a business was not only about profits but about the people who helped bring it to life. He valued those relationships as much as any accomplishment and took pride in the success of all the businesses he helped to grow and develop over the years.

Mike is survived by his long-term partner, Patty, with whom he shared many years of love and companionship. He leaves behind his children: Jeremy (Sarah), Jason, Sabrina, Andrew (Olivia), and Sarah (Chris), as well as Patty’s daughter, Megan. He was also a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to one great-grandchild. Mike’s family was his greatest joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them. He is also survived by his siblings: Virginia (Bruce Chaltry), Mary (Fred Prevost), Doug (Kimber), and Michelle (Shawn Slocum). Mike was preceded in death by his beloved parents, William and Helen Biehl, and his brothers Jim, Steven, David, and Daniel. His legacy will live on through his family, the businesses he built, and the countless lives he touched.
