Livingston Parish, LA — Authorities are appealing to the public for help in locating James Ray Sharp Sr., a 78-year-old man with dementia who has been missing since Saturday morning, January 10. The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that Sharp was last seen around 7:30 a.m. on Montrose N. Drive in Denham Springs. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue jean shirt and blue jean pants.
Sharp’s family and law enforcement are deeply concerned for his safety due to his medical condition. His dementia increases the risk that he could be disoriented, unable to find his way home, or seek help on his own.
Sharp is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 106 pounds. Authorities warn that his small stature and medical vulnerability make him especially susceptible to harm if he is left unattended.
