Remembering Sean Keaney: A Life Cut Short, but Forever Loved

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Sean Keaney, of Derrin Lower, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan, and Hanwell, London, England, on December 31st, 2025, following a tragic accident. Sean, aged 35, was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, whose loss has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him.

Sean was the cherished son of Bridie and the late Charlie Keaney, and the adored brother of Cathriona (Ciaran), Fiona (Stephen), Breda, Katie, Matt (Sarah), Cathal (Lorraine), and Thomas (Shauna). He will be deeply missed by his mother, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Known for his warmth, kindness, and generosity, Sean’s memory will live on in the countless lives he touched. Whether in Cavan or London, his presence was a source of joy and laughter, and his sudden departure has left many heartbroken.
