Patrick made his way to Winter Park, Colorado, launching his career as a systems analyst and developer


Born on August 10, 1982, in Springfield, Illinois, Patrick’s academic journey began at Sacred Heart-Griffin High School and continued at Purdue University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Patrick furthered his education with a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Springfield, setting the stage for his professional accomplishments.

In 2010, Patrick made his way to Winter Park, Colorado, launching his career as a systems analyst and developer. His expertise and leadership quickly earned him a prominent role at Alterra Mountain Company’s Denver headquarters in 2015, where he became a respected lead software architect. His contributions to the company’s technological progress were significant, but it was his collaborative spirit and approachable nature that made him truly memorable to his colleagues.

Outside of work, Patrick’s passions were wide-ranging. A devoted Colorado Rockies fan and a season ticket holder for over a decade, he also shared his enthusiasm for sports with fellow Denver Chicago Bears supporters. His love for the outdoors, from wakeboarding on Lake Springfield to hiking and snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains, was a defining aspect of his life.

Family was Patrick’s heart and soul. His deep connections with his parents and sisters provided him unwavering support throughout his journey. A memorial Mass in Patrick’s honor will be held on January 13, 2026, at Little Flower Church in Springfield, Illinois, with Reverend Al Kemme presiding. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. Patrick’s spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched with his passion, humor, and love for life.
