Klamath County, OR – Kaden Moses, Bonner Conney Killed in 2-Vehicle Accident on Highway 140E

A tragic accident occurred in Klamath County, Oregon, on Wednesday afternoon, November 26, 2025, when two individuals lost their lives in a two-vehicle collision. According to the Oregon State Police (OSP), the incident took place around 1:00 p.m. on Highway 140E near milepost 16. The crash occurred when a 24-year-old driver, Tahj Mahalia Miller of Klamath Falls, veered into the eastbound lane while attempting to pass other vehicles. Simultaneously, a westbound Cadillac CTS, driven by 24-year-old Kaden Shakur Moses, also moved into the eastbound lane to overtake vehicles, and the two cars collided.

The impact of the crash caused Moses’s Cadillac to lose control and roll off the eastbound shoulder. The vehicle then came to a stop upright in a nearby field. Tragically, Moses was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and was ejected from the vehicle. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, he was declared dead at the scene. Bonner Deb Conney, a 52-year-old passenger in the Cadillac, also died from the injuries sustained in the crash. Their deaths have left the community in mourning.

Miraculously, Miller, the driver of the Honda Civic, and his two young passengers—aged 3 and 5—were unhurt in the crash. The accident prompted an extensive response from the Oregon State Police, Bonanza Fire Department, and the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). Highway 140E was shut down for nearly six hours while authorities worked to clear the scene and conduct an investigation. The OSP continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Although no further details have been released, the crash serves as a reminder of the importance of seatbelt use and safe driving practices.

The tragic deaths of Kaden Moses and Bonner Conney underscore the risks of reckless driving, especially when overtaking other vehicles in high-traffic areas. As the investigation continues, the families of the victims are left grieving the loss of their loved ones, and the community is reminded of the fragility of life on the road. The crash also highlights the need for greater awareness and safety measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. As the OSP continues their investigation, those who were involved in the crash are encouraged to contact authorities and provide any additional information.
