A tragic single-vehicle accident occurred on Saturday night, December 27, 2025, along Ewing Road in Fleming County, Kentucky, claiming the life of 55-year-old Sean A. Parker. According to the Kentucky State Police, troopers were notified by Fleming County Dispatch at around 8:00 p.m. about a serious crash in the 3600 block of Ewing Road. Upon arrival, law enforcement and emergency responders found that Parker, a resident of Germantown, Kentucky, had been driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck when the incident took place. Preliminary investigations indicate that Parker’s vehicle veered off the shoulder of the road, and he lost control of the truck. The vehicle then left the roadway entirely and struck a culvert, causing it to overturn multiple times.

The force of the crash ejected Parker from the vehicle, leaving him critically injured at the scene. Despite swift emergency response efforts, including assistance from the Flemingsburg Police Department, Fleming County Sheriff’s Department, and local fire and EMS teams, Parker was tragically pronounced dead by the Fleming County Coroner. The cause of the accident is still under investigation by Kentucky State Police, with Trooper Marvin Morris leading the inquiry. While it’s still unclear what led to Parker losing control of the truck, authorities have confirmed that the crash was a result of the vehicle leaving the roadway. The area where the accident occurred is known for winding roads, and further investigation will look into whether weather or road conditions played a role in the crash.

The loss of Parker has deeply affected the local community, where he was well-known and respected. Friends, family, and neighbors have expressed their condolences and support for Parker’s loved ones, with many offering prayers for strength during this difficult time. Kentucky State Police have asked anyone with additional information or who may have witnessed the crash to come forward as the investigation continues. The incident serves as a tragic reminder of how quickly accidents can occur and the importance of staying alert behind the wheel, particularly on rural roads. The Kentucky State Police is expected to release further updates as their investigation progresses, and local agencies continue to support Parker’s family in the aftermath of this heartbreaking event.
