Tragic Accident in Snohomish County: Fox Dreyer, 18, Killed in Head-On Collision on SR 203
SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — The Washington State Patrol has identified the victim of a fatal crash that occurred on State Route 203 near Cherry Valley Road on the evening of January 7, 2026. Fox Dreyer, 18, of Woodinville, tragically lost his life in the two-vehicle collision that took place around 6:30 p.m. near milepost 20, between Monroe and Duvall.
According to a preliminary investigation, Dreyer was driving southbound on SR 203 when he attempted to overtake another vehicle. In the process, he collided head-on with an oncoming northbound car. Emergency personnel responded swiftly to the scene, where Dreyer was declared deceased upon arrival.
The other driver involved in the crash, Callie Wheller, 21, of Monroe, was taken to EvergreenHealth Monroe for evaluation but was reported to be in stable condition. Authorities confirmed that both Dreyer and Wheller were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the collision. They also indicated that impairment was not a factor in the crash, and the investigation is ongoing.
This tragic accident has left the local community devastated, as Fox Dreyer was remembered for his youthful spirit and potential.
