Victorville, CA – The Victorville community is grappling with the aftermath of a harrowing crash that left a motorcyclist with critical injuries on Thursday morning, December 4, 2025. The collision, involving three vehicles, occurred on Amargosa Road, just south of Eucalyptus Street, shortly before 11:30 AM.

According to preliminary reports from local authorities, the crash unfolded when a 2007 Aprilia Tuono 1000 R motorcycle and an Amazon Dodge Ram ProMaster van were both traveling southbound on Amargosa Road. The motorcyclist, in an attempt to pass the van, collided with its rear driver-side corner. At that moment, a yellow Jeep was heading northbound, directly in the path of the motorcycle. The impact sent the motorcyclist careening into the side of the oncoming Jeep.

The rider was subsequently thrown onto the roadway, where emergency crews were dispatched immediately after receiving reports of the crash. Paramedics rushed the critically injured motorcyclist to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation, with authorities examining traffic footage and witness statements to piece together the exact sequence of events. The driver of the Amazon van, as well as the Jeep driver, remained at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation.

Local authorities are reminding drivers to exercise caution on busy roads and to always be mindful of others, especially when navigating tight spaces or passing other vehicles.
